Man spends £250,000 turning his terraced house into a man-cave


A divorcee who has spent 20 years renovating a classic Victorian terraced house into a modernised man-cave has put his house on the market - but he won't come close to recouping the £250,000 he has spent on it. Stephen Jennings has installed zebra print galore, plaster cherubs, ornate chandeliers and seven TVs into his property in Newton Heath, Manchester. But now it is on the market an asking price of £180,000 - and will include all the customised furnishings he has added.
