Passengers on board the Carnival Spirit cruise ship when it was struck by giant swells and 100km/h winds have shared footage of their frightening experience.The vessel was off the coast of New South Wales when it encountered the wild weather on Saturday, causing chaos among its 2,124 guests.Images shared on social media showed the aftermath of the disastrous event, with hundreds of plates smashed across floors, along with spilled food and cutlery.
